Phin Wallaby

The Wallaby Rides Again!
Phin Wallaby

April 10 2011 Kempsey Golf Club 8.30am start
3 races in one.
3 classes
3 tracks
1 day

How does this work?
  1. You pick what amount of laps you want to compete in for all 3 races (e.g. pick 1 lap per race will mean you do 3 laps in total), no changing mid event.
  2. You pick your group Racer, Rider or Trail Bike (140mm travel min) with prizes for the winners of groups. After the first round any "Rider" (group) time better than 3rd place in the Racer class will be re classified as a Racer for the whole event.
  3. There will be a 15min break (about half a lap) from the time the 5th placed 3 lap Racer finishes before the next race starts. Early you get in the more rest you get.
Example: I'm entering in 3 lap Racers class.

Entry fee $30 for 3 lappers $20 for 2 lappers $10 1 lappers.
Note: There is no age or gender catergories, if you don't think you can be in the front half of the lap catergory enter in the Riders group, prizes are still the same.

Online entries here

Late entries or entries on the day will incur an additional $10 fee unless otherwise arranged

LunarC 8hr

Josh, Tim and Kylee headed to Murrenbong this weekend for the LunarC 8HR. Tim headed out as a solo of course and after a flat tyre from the year before's winner took the lead and extended it to almost a lap and a half lead by the 8hr mark! Josh and Nigel hit it out in the pairs division. The boys ran two laps at a time, holding 3rd position for 3 hours, the boys went lap for lap then, however as the night went on they lost their advantage taking up 5th position with only an hour to go! Nigel took on the track for his last lap and by the 8 hr mark josh had helped him to regain a position, finishing in 4th! All guys did an absolute corker of a job! Josh and Tim represented KMORC with flying colours! A huge thanks to Kylee for keeping Tim well fed and watered throughout the night!

1.5hr constant ride
  • Wednesday 5.30 start, Kempsey Golf Club,

Saturday 5pm start Kempsey golf club beer garden,

Definition of the rides:
"Social" means we go and stop to keep everyone together so it doesn't matter what fitness or skill level you are at you don't get forgotten.
"Training" rides are tried to keep the wheels rolling for the whole time so you will need a little more fitness to keep up. If you are wanting to get fitter and start with the training group you can and drop back to the social group on a Wednesday.
